Every year people love to come to the Smoky Mountains to see the changing colors of the leaves. This gorgeous fall occurrence has drawn many couples to decide on this location for their wedding. The Smoky Mountain Wedding Association is a wonderful resource for these couples. Swann Plantation is one of several featured venues offered. The rich history of this 130 year old estate gives a wonderful background to display the changing colors. From its barn to its magnificent fields and river, this gorgeous location is a perfect spot for any East Tennessee wedding.

Along with the romantic ambiance, this venue has a remarkable staff. The owners Shari and John are a delight to work with and have wonderful ideas on making your experience unique and beautiful.

 

We did a styled shoot with our model Sakaylea at Swann Plantation. Maree from Hello Beautiful, made our model shine with lash extensions.

The wedding gown was such a vital part of the shoot. We could not have asked for a more amazing crew then the ladies at Unforgettable Bridal who provided the lovely wedding dress. They used their expertise and helped us select the perfect look. They lavished our model with jewelry for the finishing touch.

 

Once we dressed our model, we made our way around the property. Shari gave us a grand tour in her ATV, highlighting her favorite photo-op locations.

We started in the front yard of the estate and made our way through the gorgeous pastures.

The creek bed and bridge prove to be gorgeous scenery for a bridal shoot.

 

Next we went to the historic barn. This beautiful building is a true gem.

From the stunning lofts to the artistic doors, the rustic setting was perfect.

There were so many wonderful props all around that gave us all fun ideas.

By the end of the night we were all laughing and smiling. It was a pleasure working with all the wonderfully creative vendors.
